This stunning holiday resort is located on a peninsula, and so has two stretches of sandy beaches either side. Side has two areas, the old and the new, which provides a perfect mix of the modern facilities as well as the picturesque views and places to relax. Side provides many facilities, including a wide range of accommodation from Turkey holiday deals, all inclusive and luxury accommodation, making Side the perfect place for any budget. Other facilities include a large amount of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars, which are located within the ancient buildings of this historic city. With the 2nd-century theatre and beautiful Roman baths, which house a collection of artifacts, there is plenty of opportunities to learn about the history as well as the culture of the city. However, if you would like your own keepsake of your trip, there are many shops and stalls down the busy street that lead towards the sea, where you can buy traditional goods such as carpets, jewellry and leather goods.

Aspendos
This theatre was build within the 2nd century, and was designed
by the architect Zeno. It was built out of marble, and climbs
up a hill, and was able to hold 15,000 people for performances.
Built during the reign of Marcus Aurelius, this theatre was dedicated
to the Gods, and is a stunning reminder of the history of the
area.
Temples
of Apollo and Athena
The identical temples were built in the late 2nd century, and
were built in dedication to the God Apollo and Goddess Athena
(the patron Goddess of Side).
Beaches
There are many historical reminders within Side, but the beaches
are just as stunning. The beaches both golden sand, and light
blue waters as well as a light breeze. Side is flanked by beaches
on either side, and so is perfect for those who want to relax
on the beach.
