Sa Coma is a purpose-built resort that has quickly
become one of Majorca’s most popular beach resorts. It lies between
Cala Millor and S’Illot on the east coast. Calla Millor provides
a vibrant atmosphere and is definitely worth a visit via the tram
provided. Sa Coma receives many British holidaymakers
every year, including couples, families as well as groups of people
looking for a relaxing holiday. It is ideally suited to families
with children as the blue waters of the beach are shallow, and
the beaches are lined with sand. The beach on the resort also
has a blue flag status, so its cleanliness and water-quality are
approved. The beach is backed by a promenade which has many restaurants,
cafes and shops.
There are also other facilities away from the beach that can be
enjoyed by children, such as the huge safari park in Cala Millor.
Cala Millor also hosts an annual hot air balloon display and the
Son Servera Fair.

Auto Safari Zoo
Just outside Sa Coma, this Auto Safari Zoo is the perfect place
to enjoy a day away from the beach. You can drive round the 4km
long Safari or take the Safari mini train. There are many different
enclosures including the monkeys, giraffes, zebras and elephants.
There are also some caged animals such as lions and tigers!
Punta
de n'Ame
This attractive headland is located between Sa Coma and Cala Millor.
It has been a nature reserve for over twenty years, and provides
a great place to walk and see the nature of Majorca.
