Palma Nova and the close resort of Magalluf are the two most
popular destinations on Majorca. Palma Nova is
only a few miles from the capital, Palma, and the airport of Son
Sant Joan. Most visitors to Majorca come from Britain on package
holidays. Majorca has much to offer,
such as entertainment, beaches, and the sun throughout the summer
period. People are never disappointed with this resort as it is
purpose built and has something to offer everyone.
There are three gorgeous beaches that all have
blue flag status, and have a long promenade running behind them.
Palma Nova and Magalluf, the party capital of
Europe, are separated by a mountainous headland. Both
resorts however, are merged into one large area adorned with hotels,
shops, restaurants and nightclubs. Throughout both resorts it
is possible to find accommodation for any budget from cheap holidays
to Palma Nova and Magalluf to the more luxurious Magalluf and
Palma Nova hotel. Palma Nova is known as the
quieter area of the resorts, and so is more popular with both
families and couples wanting to relax.
