Many people come on holidays to Majorca every
year for the sun, the sea and the sand, and Cala Millor is no
exception. Cala Millor is the most vibrant
holiday resort on Mallorca, and is set on the rocky north-east
coast of Mallorca. Cala Millor has many facilities and activities
geared towards the many visitors it receives every year, including
watersports and markets. The resort has just over a mile of gorgeous
sandy beach, and crystal waters, which is why its name literally
means ‘better bay’. Both ends of the beach are cut of by the rocky
headlands, which make a stunning view whilst you relax on the
beach. Along the coast are also many quiet villages with their
own beaches, which have many small coves and inlets in the rocks
that are great to investigate!
This resorts development began in the 1930s, and has now turned
into a lively and busy town with many hotels as well as restaurants,
cafes, bars and clubs. It also boasts a stunning promenade which
runs along the beautiful beach that joins Cala Millor to other
resorts along the coast. Close to Cala Millor is the quieter resort
of Cala Bona with a small port that is still in use. Sa Coma is
also close, which is a well-known resort that also offers many
facilities. It is also only just 40miles form Palma, the capital
of the island, and the Son Sant Joan international airport there.
There are many types of accommodation available in Cala
Millor, from apartments to hotels. There is also a variety
of prices, which means that there is always accommodation to suit
any budget. This means that a travel holiday to Cala Millor,
is available to everyone!
Son Servera Fair

the week, which celebrate Sant Joan, who is the Patron Saint of
the town.
