Cala Bona is set within the district of Son
Servera, and is close to the other popular resort of Cala Millor.
The coast that this resort is situated on is the most peaceful
on Majorca, and boasts some of the most stunning beaches.
It is also situated around two hours away from Palma, and the
international airport there. Unlike many of the resorts
on Majorca, Cala Bona was not purpose built, but has
been adapted and renovated from a small fishing town. The old
buildings and their charm can still be seen throughout the resort,
although it is now dominated by hotels and restaurants. The small
port also still functions, which is now lined with small cafes
and bars, and is a pleasant place for a stroll.
The two kilometers of golden beach runs from Cala Bona to Cala
Millor. There are many facilities close to the beach, and activities
are also available, making this the perfect place to enjoy a day
relaxing next to the clear sea waters.
Flights to Majorca are relatively cheap, making
this a very accessible island. Hotels similarly are varied, offering
cheap to luxury accommodation for your Cala Bona holiday.

Caves of Drach
These caves are the most visited tourist attraction on the island.
Inside the caves lies three chambers - Cueva Negra (Black Cave),
Cueva Blanca (White Cave) and the Cueva Luis Salvator (Luis Salvator
Cave). There is also a beautiful lake, which is one of the largest
in the subterranean. Visitors are able to take a boat trip onto
the lake to look at the stunning rock formations that have appeared.
Boat trips
Along the coast of Cala Bona there are many companies offering
boat trips into the sea. These boats have glass bottoms which
help the visitor to have a good view of the sea life without getting
wet! They run either north or south along the coast, and so, also
provide a great way of seeing more of the island. They’re modern
boats which serve refreshments and they stop for around 30minutes,
giving you plenty of time to enjoy the scenery as well as the
sea creatures.
