Sharm El Sheikh is well-known for its dive centre, and is one of the largest resorts along the Red Sea. As well as diving, Sharm El Sheikh provides a host of activities, such as water sports and casinos. The city is located at Naama Bay, which boasts many shops, restaurants, cafes and nightclubs, as well as gorgeous beach. The majority of hotels and accommodation is situated just four miles away from the centre, which means there is frequent transport between the hotel areas and the city. The wealth of dive sites are located within reach of Sharm El Sheikh, and provide some of the most stunning dives in the area. One of these is the sheer drops at Ras Mohammed, as well as many other wrecks and beautiful dives available by boat. Naama Bay itself has shallower waters which are perfect for those who are learning to dive, and help is at hand with the local instructors that can be found. As well as diving, there are many other activities to participate in, as well as a lively nightlife and a huge amount of bars and restaurants to choose from.

Coloured Canyon
Situated by Nuweiba this canyon is located in the desert. It was
created when the water gorged into the rock around it, and revealed
the colourful layers of rock. You are able to walk through the
canyon, although it is very narrow in places. Good walking shoes
and fitness is needed as well as lots of water, as the desert
is very hot! The walk along this stunning canyon will take you
a few hours, but is well worth the effort.
