Costa Teguise
Costa Teguise is the most recently developed resort on Lanzarote, it's ideal for families and sunseekers and is more peaceful than some of the other resorts on the island.
In the town there are plenty of shops and restaurants, serving food of all nationalities. There are three beaches to choose from, including the Playa Bastian beach which is idyllic with its tropical sun and clear, blue waters.

Playa Blanca
Playa Blanca has grown a lot in the last few years, but still retains a lot of traditional charm with its quiet fishing village at its centre You'll find the best bars and restaurants along the promenade and some of the best beaches in the Canary Islands can be found nearby - the Atlantic waves make it ideal for watersports. This is an ideal place to stay if you want to explore the island and even take a ferry to Fuerteventura.

Puerto Del Carmen
There is entertainment for all ages in Puerto Del Carmen and this is where to head if you want lively nightlife. There are excellent shops in Puerto Del Carmen, from tourist stalls to little boutiques selling local goods.
You will be spoilt for choice for nightclubs and bars along the main strip. By day, you can relax on the beach, or take part in the numerous sporting activities, such as wind-surfing and deep-sea fishing taking place.

Timanfaya Volcanic Landscape
This 'Martian' landscape in the National Park is a must-see. The volcanic rock comes in all colours, shapes and textures and is dotted with small white houses with beautiful onion-domed chimney stacks.
One fun way to discover it is by taking a camel ride.
Most visitors stop at the El Diablo restaurant while they are there to sample the local food, which is cooked using geothermal heat.
