charms contrast with the stylish modern marina.
San Agustin
Stay here and you get the best of both worlds - this is a quiet,
compact resort, ideal for lazy sunbathing. But preserving your
energy by day, you'll be ready to party by night.

There are two quiet beaches and a handleful of restaurants and

Gran Canaria is the third largest island in the Canaries.
Roughly circular, it has an average diameter of 30 miles and rises
to the 6,400-ft Pico de las Nieves at its centre. The varied landscape
embraces desert scenery, barren cliffs cut by deep gorges, mountains
and fertile tropical valleys.
Las Palmas, with a population of over 300,000, is the island's
capital and major port. Located in the north-east, it is linked
to the airport, 17 miles to the south, by a motorway which continues
on as far as the major resorts of the south coast.
The best beaches are all in the south as are the great dunelands
of Maspalomas.
From the golden dunes of Maspalomas and small sandy beach of Puerto
Mogan to the cool, crushed shells of Playa Amadores, long sandy
sweep of Las Canteras on Las Palmas and lively shore in Playa
Del Ingles.
Gran Canaria offers a beach holiday for every taste with blue
flag awarded beaches and marinas providing fantastic bathing dinning
and relaxation.
Gran Canaria enjoys the most spectacular scenery of the canaries,
contrasting sweeping sand dunes, volcanic landscapes and lush plantations,
this sunny island blends picturesque villages, vibrant morden resorts
and warm golden beaches to create a popular holiday haven, perfect
for both recreation and pure relaxation.
For lively nights, head to the buzzing Commercial centres, beach
bars and restaurants of Playa Del Ingles and Puerto Rico. For more
relaxing evenings Playa Meloneras seafront promenade and Puerto
Mogan's picturesque harbour offer upmarket dining..
