Luxor and the Pyramids
No visit to Egypt is complete without a trip to Luxor and the Pyramids.
Luxor is the central hub for visitors for Egypt looking for the
famous antiquities. The city stretches along the Nile and has
plenty of shops, souks and bazaars to explore. The city is close
to the Valley of the Kings and a short bus ride from the Pyramids
of Giza and there are also a lot of archeological treasures to
discover within the city.
Sharm el-Sheikh
Sharm el-Sheikh is one of the most famous diving resorts on the
Red Sea.
The resort has many bars, restaurants, casinos and places to go
at night and lots of opportunities for shopping, as well as luxury
accommodation.
Excellent sites for diving, wind-surfing and snorkelling include
Ras Mohammed, the Straits of Tiran and Naama Bay.
Hurghada diving holiday in the Red Sea
Hurghada is the biggest holiday resort on the Red Sea, with great
hotels lining the beach. Many of the hotels in Hurghada offer
all-inclusive packages within private resorts.
Hurghada has a crescent shaped bay which is hugely popular for snorkelling and diving. Just to the North is El Gouna - a resort with great nightlife and sports facilities.
Cruise the Nile
Nile River Cruises vary between being three to seven nights long. The short tours usually travel between Luxor and Aswan, but on the longer trips you will be taken right up to the north of the country into more remote areas. Typically, you will take in the Pyramids of Giza and other famous sights.
There are also night cruises that can be taken from Luxor and other resorts.

As well as the Sphinx, Valley of the Kings and other antiquities,
Egypt's Red Sea area is considered one of the

If your time is more restricted, you can still enjoy a cruise
into Luxor, which is especially dramatic by night. If you're able
to explore inland take a jeep safari to the desert or ride a camel
up Mount Sinai.
